Hello! We hope you all had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend! Paul and I had an amazing weekend off here in Santa Barbara that included relaxation, a long walk on the beach, a nice bike ride downtown, and stand-up-paddle-boarding with dolphins (so thankful)!!! I know that getting back to the office after a great holiday can be tough, so here are some gorgeous wedding portraits to distract you.
This bride and groom are so sweet and lovely together! They are a calm couple, but Andrew makes Lena giggle shamelessly and her smile puts a vibrant light in his eyes. He is a paramedic and she is a nurse, so they are basically super hero sidekicks. Lena’s gorgeous lace gown, Andrew’s formal black tie, and all of the love and light in the Montecito garden and beach venues were the makings of such dreamy, classy and romantic photographs.
We first met these two when they booked us to photograph their engagement portraits at the Santa Barbara Mission. Long before we met them they had actually booked a different wedding photographer, but fortunately for us they decided to book us again a couple of months after the wedding to photograph some additional bride and groom portraits. We are so glad that they did! This definitely inspired me to encourage “day after sessions” where the bride and groom can take the time to create more photographs in a totally relaxed way, or even anniversary sessions. Its never too late to get back in your wedding gown and create the photographs of your dreams!
Locations: The Music Academy of the West, Santa Barbara + Butterfly Beach, Montecito
